"Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

Wow! I can not comprehend what my great-grandfather felt as he passed this "lady Liberty". He came from Scotland with very little to begin a new live here in this great land. All he asked for was a chance to make something for himself and family. I can not think of a better way to remind myself each morning than to get a glimpse of her, standing there 12" wide and 27" tall reminding me to "take on the day" and make it my own.
